Message from Owner

I’m so worried I only myself rescued this bird almost a year ago. When I brought him in and put him in a cage, he immediately started falling asleep. He was so tired. And now he’s out in the same situation.. he got out exactly 7:35am as I have a floating ring camera set up to monitor him while I’m at work. He loves apples and bird seed, he loves baths, and his 8, kitty cat brothers and sisters miss him, as well as his brother Impossimus, and his mouse brother, Mr. Jingles.

Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
