Description

Small white dog with curly hair could be a poodle mix breed. Found without a collar or leash. Very sweet and calm mannered. Took him to our dogs Vet and is not chipped. Looks like he’s been lost for many weeks from looking at his nails and all the hair and black goop that covered his eyes he was barely able to see. He doesn’t look malnourished and looks healthy otherwise.

Message from Finder

This sweet and precious boy was seen wandering along Magnolia hills drive today when my husband was driving home. He pulled over and walked toward this sweet pup and he came right up to him. Could tell right away he’s been lost for many weeks from the way he looked. Long nails, eyes barely visible with black goop and hair stuck so unable to see clearly. Has bites on his skin and had lots of sticky round weeds all over his entire body. We took him to our dogs Vet right away and found out he isn’t chipped. According to CA law the Vet is not allowed to examine him or vaccine until 30 days. We took him to Lees Feed off Green Valley road to get some flea and bath soap to wash him at home however Leslie and Mikalya offered us to bathe him there. The kindest of hearts and generous of souls deeply and truly. We brought him back to our home and he’s resting now on the couch with us sleeping and comfy. We didn’t want to bring him to a shelter and prefer to keep him here at the comforts of our home. If no one claims him and we are unable to find his home we would like to adopt him if possible.

Kristie Perry oh good grief, if its been lost for a while then it can easily look unkempt. No WAY to know that it was mistreated 🤷‍♀️

It it just me? Doesn’t look like it’s been cared for very well all knotted up, ungroomed. Why would you want to give it back? It’s probably been dumped is my best guess. 😖

Please file a found dog report with the shelter, that way if his owner goes there looking for him they can contact you. (You can hold onto the dog, but you need to let the shelter know that you have it)

Cindy Traxler he’s definitely not a doodle. He is very much a poodle mix. He could be a bichon for all we know until you get under that hair and see what he looks like. I’m a groomer by the way.

He must be horribly matted. We’ve had doodles for many years, and they require a lot of grooming. Poor little thing.
