Description

My cat is still missing since 7/5 and I’m losing hope everyday. I’ve been walking around the neighborhood multiple times a day at different times looking for him and leaving food and treats out and still no luck. He escaped out his carrier on Harvest View Way at night. He is not neutered, not chipped. Had an orange collar on. Gray spots on his body with Gray tail. If anyone lives around Harvest View Way, River Rose Way, Rose Vista Ct, Spring Rose Way, Near James Marshall Elementry School or in this community OR if you know someone who lives in this community PLEASE keep an eye out if you guys spot him. I will offer a reward if you’re able to capture him/feed him or keep him in one spot so i can grab him. I have posters up in the neighborhood as well and checked every shelter - no luck. I am SO desperate to bring him home, I am so worried he’s hungry since there’s no one in this neighborhood that feeds strays from what i’ve seen. I’ve also tried the Japanese Cat method and still no luck.

Message from Owner

Rocky was a stray cat and I brought him in because he was getting bullied from other cats. I’ve been caring for him for a few months now. I love him so so much and I miss him a lot. He’s the sweetest cat ever, never bit me, doesn’t hiss or scratch. He just wants treats and love :( Please help me find Rocky!

File online lost reports with shelters. Put something outside with the kitty's scent on it and call the cat's name at night when quiet and shake food container. Check in trees and keep checking shelters online and in person.

He must have sensed bad vibes about the vet appointment. He's named the same as my brother. You're both in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏

Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! LOOK UP! Cats are great climbers and looking for them on the ground only is limiting your search. Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! https://www.pawboost.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=report_pet_alert_link_lost Sacramento SPCA | (916) 383-7387 Front Street Shelter | 311 or (916) 808-7387 Bradshaw Animal Shelter | 311 or (916) 368-7387 Elk Grove Animal Services | (916) 691-2489 or (916) 714-5115
