This is, in fact, the dog. The family reached out to me directly and confirmed that it was their baby. My son witnessed the incident and was able to get a picture of the truck, including its license plate. Would you like me to share it here?

Amber Kapiolani looking at the picture of the dog and remembering the dog that was hit yesterday. I am not sure this is the same dog.

Amber Kapiolani I want to respond as the owner of this company. We all feel terrible for what happened yesterday. I was there waiting for my coworker when it happened and I watched it all happened in my rearview mirror The dog had been running down the street with cars driving by it when our guy came up behind it he slowed down and was trying to pull into park Our driver stopped for the dog and was driving very slow thinking the dog had ran away. He continued slow slowly. The dog ran under his truck where it was hit. He felt terribly as did I, and we send our condolences to anyone who was connected to this pet

She will be back in the morning or near the house hiding because it's raining but chows like to do that at that age but is very smart to stay close. I promise
