Message from Owner

Our beloved cat Biggie is missing. She went missing around Washington Street in Roslindale. Biggie is a very shy and scared cat. She is not a friendly “people’s cat,” so please don’t chase her or try to grab her if you see her. She may be frightened and hide. Biggie has a loving home and a family who misses very much My daughter is heartbroken If you see Biggie, please contact me and let me know where you saw her. Even a small piece of information could help us find her. 🙏 Please share this post with anyone in the Roslindale/Washington Street area. We just want our Biggie back home. ❤️🐱 My phone number is

I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. 💜💜💜💜🍀

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.

Most likely your cat is near by. These are steps you should follow.....1) Sprinkle lots of cat nip near the door he got out from and your yard.2) Leave an unlaundered Tshirt or article of clothing(someone mentioned socks) near the door. 3) Go outside and call him frequently or when possible....especially at night when there is less traffic noise. 4) Pass out flyers with his picture and your phone number on it, put in peoples mailbox's and talk to as many neighbors as possible (this is how I got my cat back, years ago). 5) go out in the evening around your neighborhood....look closely under bushes, porch steps etc.... using a FLASH LIGHT. Cats eyes will shine like reflectors when the light is used. 6) Put real TUNAFISH outside near your door. 7)Please do not put the litter box outside. It will attract predators like coyotes.8)Don't give up!

Indoor 🐈‍⬛ cat? May not go far. Check shelters, call animal control . Put up flyers, talk to neighbors. Please keep us updated. I hope Biggie is found. 💔🤚🏼
