Message from Owner

🚨 MISSING CAT — GUS 🚨 Gus was last seen at our home around 8:00 AM (August 15). He is a large, very fluffy cat with bright blue eyes, a cream/tan body, dark brown face, ears, legs, and a big dark fluffy tail. Gus is an indoor/outdoor cat and goes outside regularly, but he always comes home and has been gone much longer than usual, so we are very worried. He is MICROCHIPPED but is not wearing a collar. 🙏 PLEASE check your garages, sheds, pool equipment areas, under decks, bushes, cars, and anywhere he could have unexpectedly gotten shut in. If you have exterior cameras, please check them for this evening as well. If you see Gus, please do not chase him. Please message/call us immediately with the location. Please share with neighbors. ❤️

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as he may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for him.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for him to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere he can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call his name or use whatever sound gets him to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for his safe return home 🙏
