I hope but no one will claim it and if someone does I hope they are vetted. There are evil people out there.

I hope and pray this little one is safe inside and there are plans to bring her/him to a vet for a free chipcheck.

Can you bring kitty inside to safety, food and water and then take to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the kitty and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. And beware of bad actors!!! Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for cats lost in and near your zip code.
