Bob Hunt no… but having a collar with Id is bare minimum. Dogs get out, you don’t say… There are hundreds of dogs on fb.. w/ no id.. they can’t tell us where they live. It comes to basic responsibility. My dogs were gone for a week… with collars and Id…. And that is what finally brought them home. Without the basics—- it minimizes safety. If a dog cant see ….they need extra care. I think we can agree. And it’s not helpful making excuses for people. Simply stating a collar — use a sharpie if you need to for a phone number. Dog cant see. it’s heartbreaking.. the dog depends on them for safety. It’s literally $11.

Lydia Bruno unfortunately, people make mistakes all the time. And Sometimes lack judgment. The people that let this happen already have Enough on their plate, and i'm sure they're beating themselves up for their mistake. There's no need to berate them publicly on the platform. Instead, maybe spend the energy volunteering to go search for the dog. Maybe you're wonderfully perfect, and have not suffered a lack injudgment, Horray for you. But the rest of us are mere mortals.

Does anybody use collars with name and phone numbers? $11 on Walmart, Amazon…. Embroidered. It’s the least you can do. There should not be this many dogs daily with no collars and I’d. and people wonder where their dogs are. Hope you find your dog.. It’d be helpful to have id.. Definitely would be less of a damn puzzle.
