All the above advice + Make sure you go to the shelters, animal control, humane societies & every rescue you can think of in person and check for your dog or cat as often as you can. Don’t rely on just calling to check for them. The shelters are understaffed and overwhelmed right now, they may not recognize your dog or cat from a description over the phone. And, put up flers & post on love of louie, next door, etc., etc

Walk around calling your cat as you always do. Look under bushes and in hiding places. Look at dawn and dusk with a flashlight to catch the glare of your cat's eyes. Leave garage door and lanai partially open if possible. Your cat will try to get back inside ..most likely at night. Use a trap...The only way to find his way home.or to the trap is by smell. Use some of your used clothes, put them outside and around the trap. A friend of mine used her shirt and dragged it through the neighborhood. Her cat found the smell and followed it home. It is all about the smell. You can also cut a shirt of yours into small small pieces and leave a scent trail back to the trap. I read a few days ago that a lady put out a trace with the old litter throughout the neighborhood. It worked. Her cat came home! Use the litter to lead your cat to the trap. Also try to distribute flyers throughout that neighborhood...as many as you can ( 3 miles radius at least). Check shelters in person...don't just call. Put battery operated trail cameras outside. Your cat might show up in the middle of the night. When you know the time you can wait for for your cat and slow blink to make contact. NEVER GIVE UP! I read once that you can put a chair outside and cover it up with a blanket and the cat can jump up and hide under the blanket and feels safe. They said you should put one of your shirts under the blanket and food and water next to the chair. It might be worth a try to put up a chair

Post some ads up around your area rewards always helps go out walking the neighborhood, knocking on doors ask your local neighbors to check their garages sheds under decks under vehicles behind bushes and Barnes check with local veterinarians check with local animal, shelter and Humane Society daily. You must go there. Prayers post some ads on local lost and found sites. You can Google these in your area prayers pull some ads on these local Lost and Found sites neighbors next-door, and craigslist and for the love of.Louie and paws boost go out, walking the neighborhood several times during the day and several times very late at night with a flashlight shaking a treat bag calling for your cat. They usually stay close to home. They usually come home between the hours of 12 AM and 6 AM when it’s very quiet outside, keep your eyes and ears open prayers you can also try putting your cats bed, especially bad blanket, toys, and some of your dirty clothing from inside the house. Do not wash these items such as T-shirts, sweaters, blankets put these items out on your porch. Keep your eyes open animals have a great sense of smell change outside items every couple of days this works great for cats and dogs. This work for me and my cats several times prayers my cat got out of the house about a week ago. He was gone almost 24 hours i’m always helping people try to find their pets and I put my clothes outside. It was raining. The cat did not come home. Something told me to put my cats bed out on the porch. 20 minutes later my cat was laying in the bed on the front porch, called him in the house He’s been trying to escape every size. I got him an AirTag a name tag and collar. For less than $40 from Amazon.

To update everyone, we have put out flyers, walked every neighborhood within 3 miles, and used a drone service. we have put out bulletins on every local social media platform too. I just keep trying incase someone does come forward with him. Hoping!
