She’s missing from Heather Civic Marina in Vancouver False creek since June 2 morning. We searched whole Marina as it is very unlikely for her to get out the gate on her own. Now we expand our search outside the Marina. Please let us know if you have seen her in the neighborhood. She’s friendly but timid and maybe in hiding in unfamiliar places.she’s a 4.5kg small cat. Tattoo in side the ear and microchipped.

Likely within 5 or 6 houses away. Ask neighbours to check sheds, garages and under decks and bushes. Go out with flashlight when quiet and dark. Get posters up asap using zip lock bags. Leave soiled article of your clothing outside to draw home. Leave door open a few inches and kitty may walk inside typically between 2 and 4 am. Motion lights and security cameras are really helpful. Make sure your microchip information is up to date or it will be useless. Good luck!

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884
