You may have to widen your search area, because it's the breeding season and cats are taking off to find a mate. And even though they might be desexed it makes no difference as "The Call of The Wild" is still very strong in their genes!! Even more so 100% if they have not been desexed and sadly little kittens end up being born out on the streets. So instead of walking out to check your street drains and other hiding places, you'd be better driving around your extended neighbourhood area, stopping every so often getting out and shaking the treat bag, or try taking some hot roast chicken and allow that to waft around. Call as you do so and try not to sound distressed. Check in the storm water drains with a flashlight and call down them. (a favoaurite place for cats to hunker down in) And repeat, repeat, repeat, doing this each night. Repetitions can help a cat find their way home again. You may even see him out on the streets in your car lights. Extend your neighbourhood door knock with fliers as well, ask if anyone has seen him and ask to check their gardens and any outdoor sheds. Who knows someone may have seen him or have him on security camera. Always check in the local Pounds and RSPCA's and best to go in person and leave a flier with them in case he ends up in there. Also join as many missin animal sites on Face Bk and Social medias and scroll though them many times daily too. All the best hope you find him asap! 🙏
