I found this dog on Yellowstone Dr x Stockbridge Dr yesterday (September 16th) around noon. I took him to the vet to check for a microchip, unfortunately he doesn't have one. He also doesn't have a tag, but he had a collar on when I found him. A friend suggested that I take the collar off for photos. If this is your dog, please describe the collar of this dog, or show me photos with the collar, and we can organize a reunion.

Thank you for getting the pup scanned for a chip; also please check the Pawboost LOST listings.As no success with the chip scan, please post flyers in the area where he was found, and consider knocking on doors. Not everyone is on social media. If you are considering it, please do not accept offers from individuals who offer to adopt or take a dog to a rescue without personally knowing them. If you cannot locate the dog’s family, please be sure to get the dog to a legitimate animal care facility who will properly care for the dog and either find the the dog’s people or find the dog a new home. Please don’t try to place the dog on your own. Sadly, there are many folks out there with less than altruistic motives who will offer to ‘help.’ ***And please, verify that the person claiming this dog as a member of their family can prove that claim.*** Sounds like you are already taken the right measures to ensure a reuntion with his actual family :) Thank you for caring for this pup meanwhile.

Pups needs to be registered as Found with City of San Jose Animal Care & Services as Owner will be looking there. You can offer to foster. Shared All San Jose Lost and Found Animals and Lost and Found Pets of Santa Clara County Please post to NextDoor
