Short haired, grey and white cat, some faint stripes visible in grey patches. Grey striping on tail.

This kitty has been in the neighborhood for 2-3 years and at first I thought it was a pet that had a home, but was allowed outside. In the last several months I noticed he or she had significant weight loss and I realized it was probably a stray at that point. Mid-July, it showed up with an injury to the front left leg. Right now it is too skittish to get it in a carrier to bring to a vet for a chip check, but I plan to reach out to rescues for help with that this week. We're moving and can't take kitty with us, so I need to find help for it very soon.
