Go searching immediately around the outside of the house could be hiding under bushes or behind air conditioners or in some ones garage let neighbors know to keep an eye out for him put up pictures around the neighborhood... cats roam after dark go searching this evening this evening calling his name and shaking a bag of cat food they also roam early in the morning too.. put out a personal piece of clothing or blanket with your scent on it so he can smell it or even a can of tuna to entice him back bring in at night put out his used litter box outside they can smell it for a long distance bring in at night... go searching once it starts getting dark use a flashlight cats eyes glare check with neighbors yards and garages 💙💙💙

THIS HAS A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT BOTH DOGS AND CATS SORRY ITS SO LONG. For lost dogs and cats: Make sure you go to the animal shelter IN PERSON AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY and look in every pen even on opposite gender halls. DON'T RELY ON THE WEBSITE THEY DON'T ALWAYS HAVE ALL THE CORRECT INFORMATION OR PHOTOS OF ALL ANIMALS ON WEBSITE OR CALLING BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO FLAT OUT LIE AND SAY THAT THIS ANIMAL IS NOT THERE. GO IN PERSON AND LOOK IN EVERY PEN AND EVERY HALL INCLUDING OPPOSITE GENDER HALLS, YOUR BABY COULD BE THERE. For lost Cats: An immediate and active search is key!! Look in every shed, wood pile, window wells, under vehicles, porches, decks under bushes and up in trees, even places you think a cat cannot get into!! Cats are usually scared and are going to stay close by. Especially if they are fixed !!Males are not going to want to roam and the females are not being chased further away by unneutered males!!! PUT LITTER BOX AND SOME WORN CLOTHING OUT ON YOUR PORCH OR IN YOUR GARAGE WITH THE DOOR CRACKED OPEN CATS CAN SMELL THESE A LONG WAYS AWAY AND THIS MIGHT HELP YOUR FUR BABY FIND HOME. Go out in the evening or early morning before people start moving around with a flashlight and a bag of food or treats call kitties name while shaking the bag, use the flashlight to look around and in the bushes up in tree, everywhere, the light beem will highlight their eyes. Prayers you find your fur baby If you have escape artists like huskies I highly recommend tracking devices like Apple airtags, (if using trackers immediate searches are a must) but if you don't have an IPhone, there are tracking devices that will work with Androids like Chippola and others, along with the microchip, a tracking device that works with your phone tracks in real time BUT YOU MUST BE ABLETO SEARCH IMMEDIATELY FOR YOUR FUR BABY, OR THESE TYPE OF TRACKERS ARE OF NO USE OF THE ANIMAL GETS OUT OF RANGE. BUT they can mean you can find your fur babies in a few hours (including if someone has stolen your fur baby), instead of days or weeks, or maybe not finding them at all. You can get them back home safely and quickly. Make sure all pets even cats , and horses are MICROCHIPPED. And keep the information up to date. Post on all other sites like pawboost, Nextdoor and lost and found pets in Wichita area. any community pages in your area, put up flyers, put in mailboxes in your area at animal shelter, vet offices, pet stores, any place that will let you. Talk to neighbors. Please don't fall for the pet and drone finders scammers they will take your money but won't bring your fur babies home. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
