They're based out of Baltimore, with many qualified, certified trackers throughout the area. They have 20 years of success and experience reuniting lost pets, including cats. They work very carefully so as not to scare the kitty. ❤

Put something outside that has a heavy sent of his hoomans, tshirt, socks, dirty laundry..and something that has his heavy scent on it, blanket, tower, bed, etc. I don't recommend putting the litter box outside bc it attracts strays and the occasional skunk that might scare him away. Prayers for his safe return 🐾💕🙏

Jamie Lynn Yes, exactly. I do TNR, so I agree with everything you said. I use mackerel because it is so pungent, and you can get it at the dollar tree. I would definitely rent or buy a trap, and if she can’t, message me.

I am so sorry you’re going through this, that is the worst. As an person who has owned or cared for 5+ Siamese, tonkinese, snowshoes, and as a person who does TNR regularly, I’ve noticed this common behavior with these blue eyed types like your ragdoll… These types of cats tend to immediately hide, and typically run from people because their blue eyes take longer to register shadows and light and may see us as a black mass. If my own cats escaped, they would act like they didn’t know me, and many are hard to trap for that reason. It’s because of this I even started buying my own trap and doing TNR, in case one of my own got out. They would immediately run and hide under buildings and out of sight. I have never been able to approach any strays easily. Only after they build trust would they approach. I know ragdolls tend to be more social and friendly, but if this is a new thing he might be hiding since it wasn’t long ago. I also know how horrifying and helpless it feels for your beloved pet to go missing, it’s hard to do much of anything under that stress. I really hope for the best, and pray if he is taken, that he is returned to you quickly. Best of luck.

You can purchase a trap from Tractor Supply or Home Depot or Amazon or see if you can borrow or rent one from a local rescue or TNR group. Put a piece of your clothing with your scent on it inside and some wet food and set the trap and cover it with a towel (they feel more secure hidden) and monitor it.🙏❣️ remember kitties are naturally nocturnal, so they will hide during the day and move at night time looking for a food source or trying to get home. This is when most of us are sleeping. That's why the trap is ideal. Monitor it very frequently and early in the morning. If you catch a critter go ahead and release it and wash the trap and reset. They leave a smell behind which may deter your baby from going in. If you catch another kitty, you can always take it to a local vet or shelter for a free chip check and you might be able to help return someone else's missing baby home.♥️ also get a big sign in the front yard so in case someone does have or sees this baby and does not see this post, they can contact the owner that way. Also get lots of signs posted in the neighborhood. Keep checking on your local county FB group pages. You can search the group by "cat" to see all the cat posts only💗
