Felix had been staying with me for around one week while my daughter was away on holiday. Although he is normally an outdoor cat, this was an unfamiliar area for him. I have another cat, who is Felix’s brother, and they get along well. My other cat regularly uses the cat flap and was probably outside at the time. However, Felix had never used the cat flap before and had never even been near the front door, so I had no reason to think he would try to leave the hse. I last saw Felix at around 9:00 a.m. on 30 July. He was upstairs with me and then went into another room. I stayed upstairs and did not hear the cat flap being used. After approximately 30 minutes, I realised I had not seen him and began searching the hse. I could not find him anywhere and eventually realised he must have gone outside through the cat flap. Felix is unfamiliar with the area and has now been missing for several days. I am extremely worried about him and desperately want to get him home safely.
