Message from Finder
Deceased cat found on Kildaire Farm road near the intersection with Holly Springs Road around 9AM this morning (10/20/26): This photo is truly all I can post without it being too graphic. I wanted to pick up the body but (and I'm trying to say this as gently as possible) I could not do so without other tools due to the state of the cat. However NCDOT was on their way to pick him or her up. The coloring looked like it could be orange or brown and the tail appeared fluffy. If this is your cat, I am endlessly sorry but wanted you to have closure. If you want to message me for the full image to potentially identify your cat, you can but just please be warned that the image is disturbing.
