Message from Finder

UPDATE 10/26: Safe with Belle’s Buds Rescue - - ‼️FOUND DOG‼️ This sweet girl was found on Saturday 10/24 in Rock Creek neighborhood in Cypress. Black with a white patch on her neck and white paws. She is not microchipped and had no collar. She seems well cared for. I’ve posted on and searched Nextdoor, Ring, PawBoost, Petco Love Lost and several Houston area lost pet Facebook groups with no luck. I unfortunately can’t keep her and am trying to exhaust all options before bringing her to a shelter. Please let me know if you recognize her or can help.

April Compton Washburn thanks! Posted on Nextdoor and several Facebook groups. Tried to get her microchipped at Petsmart but she got very overstimulated and wouldn’t let them so will have to try again later when she’s less overwhelmed

Just suggestions to possibly help find the owners: Please check for a chip. Any vet or petco should be able to do this for free. Have them scan the whole body as chips can move. Check/post on next door app. Check post on pawboost, lost & found pets of Cypress. I know you posted on the fb page, just checking if you looked through them to see if anyone has posted already looking for them. You might also try walking them in the area you found them to see if they lead you to their home. If possible can you put up posters and/or knock on doors near where they were found for people not on social media. You can also check area vets to see if they know the dog, anyone has come looking for it, or if you can put up a flyer there. Make sure anyone claiming to be the owner has proof (pictures/vet bills/etc) Thank you so much for keeping them safe and trying to find the owners.
