Put outside uncleaned litterbox if it is the first 3 days of missing. Also set out some of your unwashed clothing or towels for his/her scent and your scent. Cats tend to hide, walk the area and check for any small places where he might be hiding. Late in the evening/night go out and call out softly for him/her and he/she just might pop out from where he/she is hunkered down. Report loss to animal control and give them photo of so they can have it to post to their website. If possible go each day to check if he/she has been turned in to animal control. (Calling to inquire can be unreliable.) Ask to see those on medical and stray holds. In your neighborhood put up "lost" posters. Ask your mailman to keep an eye open for him/her as well. Please Report to animal control so They can be on the lookout. Also the shelter in case someone reported it missing. Thanks

She's so pretty,,,You can post on Nextdoor and Paw Boost. Nextdoor will alert your neighborhood while Paw Boost covers a wider area and goes to vets. Flyers may be helpful in the area. Notify animal control with your info, pet description and photo. If possible go each day to check if she has been turned in to Animal Control. (Calling to inquire can be unreliable.) Ask to see those on medical and stray holds. In your neighborhood put up "lost" posters that are in a protective plastic sleeve. As high up as you can, put some of your unwashed laundry, her litter box and pet blanket or bed outside in area protected from weather so hers and your family scent can get into the air. Ask your mailman to keep an eye open for her as well. Cats tend to hide in small spaces when they are stressed. Go out in the evening with a flashlight and call her name softly. Ask your neighbors to check around their houses and garages, Good luck!!
