Your dog is chipped, but is chipped registered & re-registered every year, with homeagain.com, with your dog & your contact info? If not, chip # will show up on a chip scanner when/if she is scanned, then when homeagain is called with chip #, it will come up as unregisterd = no chip # @ contact info in their database. IT IS OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY TO REGISTER PETS CHIP WHEN IT GETS IMPLANTED INTO PET, THEN BE RE-REGISTERED EVERY YEAR/EVERY 365 DAYS/YEAR. IF NOT, ON DAY 366, CHIP # AND CONTACT INFO COMES OUT OF THEIR DATABASE. If not registered, pls do so asap, then contact them & update it with LOST status..

Put out bowls of water and check with local vets. Someone may bring him in to be scanned for a chip. Check local shelters, too. Also post fliers and contact the police. Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for dogs found in and near your zip code.
