Message from Owner

Gunther is my baby and I need him to come . He has been with me since he.was 9 weeks. He is almost 6 but still intact so he could have been following the scent of a female in heat

Last night we spent time searching the trails where I lost Gunther with his girlfriend Wren. It was a bit heartbreaking because she was confused when she saw me and Gunther was not there. But she really seemed to be on the trail of something and she marked many areas. Her behavior was quite different than when we are normally all out hiking together. It gave me some hope. We are going to return to the area in hopes Gunther might be hiding or injured on the hill above the hatchery.

Update: Gunther is still out there. It has been two weeks, lost 2/26 and today is 3/12 in the am. If you see anything please call. If you are able to post physically or on line that would be appreciated. I will be focusing on the Lower Elwha area today.

We were certain Gunther was moving east and last seen in the Agnew area along Olympic Hwy but now there are now two more sightings of a black dog on F street where we had the first security camera footage. The collar could be Gunthers but the pictures are difficult to see clearly. I am not familiar with ring cameras and I suspect they make the picture of the dog look rounder than it is. But one of the ring camera footages appears to have a collar like Gunthers. We are trying to figure out how to make this pictures more clear with Port Angeles Pet Posse assistance. It is confusing but could he have backtracked when he lost scent of home or encountered an obstacle like crossing the highway? who knows. I am flummuxed at this point. I was certain of the ring camera on F street on the 3rd then he was seen by a gentleman walking his dog who later confirmed the collar type. My next certainty was Lemmon Rd, after that Agnew was confirmed and then nothing for two days...

Gunther is still out there. We hope he’s traveling close to home. He might be following the river. He was cited on Olympic highway area several times coming towards Se and only possibly 4 miles from home but now I’ve had no further sightings since yesterday afternoon.

Be nice? She’s doing everything she can to bring her beloved dog home. No one wants to hear that when they’re hurting? If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all!
