Jami LoVullo - you think there's more than one female hound missing in Walnut, CA?

Jacalyn Portnoff Sayed sometimes the rescue has the space and experience dealing with certain breeds, like this rescue does, they can perform the stray hold so the local shelter has more room for intake. It never hurts to work together sometimes. As for the vet, who can say WHY the dog went to the vet, perhaps there were some small injuries that needed attention. Or to check for a microchip.

Karen Moses it’s all foreign to me I just assumed Saluki because he looks identical to a friend of mines (who’s an exotic animal trainer) Saluki .. I guess I didn’t realize how many similarities there were to different breeds like this .. I am in no way an expert ..

Ginny Fields I'm aware of the original post about her recovery and familiar with the breed. I was looking for confirmation of the breed which you are not offering. There is a Saluki breeder producing extreme roman heads that could be similar to this dog. I am looking for positive confirmation of breed, not a stranger's guess.

Olivia Labrador There are a lot of reasons why a Missing Pet poster or communication might seem "late". Owners aren't familiar with social media? Owners are older (maybe the baby is a grandchild? Owners weren't in town when dog went missing? Dog was lost by dog sitter or daycare? In this case maybe owners don't speak English or use English-based social media/communication platforms?

Chrissy Spotts I know a Shanxi Xigou when I see one! The found dog post has been circulating since last Saturday in my various sighthound groups.
