Description

Calico Tabby, She very blind and we believe 100% deaf now. She's skinny and has old/bad hips. LOST in Apple Valley, I live Off Genesee Ave and Germane Ave Runs behind my yard. Just off Palomino. Cedar Knolls Mobile Community Please Help! My Cat Kisa (Key-Sa) slipped out Friday 02/13/2026 after we opened the door to let smoke out from something falling onto the bottom of our Oven. Kisa is 20 years old and Has painful/bad hips and is Skinny with a Fur Pooch belly. She is (we believe) 100% Deaf so calling for her isn't going to be productive, and has become pretty near sighted the last few years. We have to show her her food can up close for her to know it's time to eat. She has digestive issues and can't have regular cat food. She is Front Declawed. Been strictly indoors her whole life. Her face is mostly Orange and bottom half is white that spreads down her chest. She has White of varying amounts on her Legs (some full "boots" some less) No white on her tail at all. Please help me find her. I've owned her since I was 13 and she's been my therapy cat and best friend my since. BEFORE commenting - Her Litter Boxes (Both) are OUTSIDE and have been since we noticed her missing We have a live Trap from when our other cat got out few years ago. Baited with her favorite treats, gravy, her normal food/bowl, and can of tuna. There is also Tuna at the other door/side I have 2 blankets from my bed (where she ALWAYS sleeps) as well as My favorite jacket which she loves to sleep on Outside to give her familiar smells. I have contacted Animal Control and asked about pets brought in. I have contacted the animal hosp/vet down the street about pets brought in. I am printing flyers today to hang up, I have Posted on the Internet, I have search the Found Pet Database. We have not spotted her on our cameras since the night she left. We can seen 3 other cats I have Checked surrounding area and go out multiple times a day to look. Even got stopped by Police last night for "suious behavior" looking around with a flashlight. ***Was told to Bring in Litter Boxes So I have done that

Message from Owner

Kisa slipped out a couple nights ago after the door was opened to let smoke out. Something slipped outta hands and went straight to the bottom of the oven. I think We've seen her on our camera the night she slipped out, but there are 2 other cats (strays) in the Area. She's been with me since I was 13. Please help Bring her ! She also has some patches where she fur is thin on her arms. Her tail is also stubby, not like a Bob just doesn't quite fit her body length. She is starting to lose her vision and is very nearsighted, and we believe 100% deaf now. We have to nudge her to get her attention. She is kinda thin with a belly pooch. She's 20 years old. We have a trap with her food bowl, My blankets (she sleeps with me every night w/o Fail. And Her Litter Box outside. We searched as much as we could tonight and will be back at it in the morning.

Rachel Lundgren She is not Chipped unfortunately. I posted her to PetFBI first and contacted both Animal Control and PD. Unfortunately we don't have an Animal Control so she will only end up there if she ends up in the town over. But I still asked to be called should any Calico be Brought in. And they told me to call PD cause that's who will respond to stray/pet reports. We've climbed under houses and porches nearby and so far nothing but we are going out every day!

Is your kitty chipped? Check animal control and humane society's and craigslist good luck 🤞 and check window wells under decks and garages and Storm drains and check bushes and woods and check rescues and nextdoor app and check pet fbi and check trees

Here are some tips to help bring your cat back: Search the neighborhood and ask if you can look in their their yard yourself rather than just ask if they've seen your cat. They might not have noticed if a cat has been hiding under their deck. LOOK IN SMALL SPACES such as bat window wells, under cars, bushes, sheds, under decks, wood piles, drainage pipes etc. ***Please go outside and call for her especially once it is dark and quiet. A live trap rented from the pound may be successful. One tip is to use a baby monitor or other security camera pointed in your yard toward the trap so you can monitor if and when your cat is coming around since it’s often in the dark of night. Check small spaces she could be hiding under or in. A number of local cats were recently found locked in neighbor's garage attics (ask neighbors to check their garages, sheds, window wells, etc), and another cat was recently found in a nearby drainage ditch.** PUT OUT THEIR LITTERBOX. Sounds weird, but it works. It's about smells. Also maybe put out their bedding or your clothing. PUT OUT SMELLY FOOD like sardines, tuna, canned cat food. Some have put it in a garage with the door part way open, or they even left the window open and food near the sill. Also LEAVE YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPEN a foot. Some cats have come home and been found meowing in their garage in the middle of the night! Post on the Next Door website or app as well to let people in your neighborhood know. Additionally, post on Craigslist, and the HelpingLostPets page and also the Pawboost Facebook page. A free flyer can be made on Pawboost and also on HelpingLostPets. And definitely contact authorities. If you have created the free flyer, you can email or leave a printout with them. Please check the pound every couple days.

Put her bedding outside food and water but bring the food inside at night otherwise it attracts wildlife.

No matter how long your kitty has been gone, stay vigilant with all lost cat protocols and advice - kitty may have been taken in by a well meaning person and could be very near - keep posters and flyers fresh and communications current with local animal control, vets, and rescues for new leads - keep the faith 💪🏼 Use whatever is applicable in the following for your situation: Extra strength prayers your kitty is safe nearby (cats usually stay in the vicinity) and home very very soon - put their food and warm shelter outside your door in a protected area and/or in your garage - diligently canvas the area and local businesses with large colorful posters and flyers - contact local animal control, vets, and rescues for any possible leads - cross post on neighborhood/community FB pages for further reach - cats are superior survivalists - stay vigilant in searching and don’t lose hope 🙏🏻❤️💪🏼 P.s. Beware of scammers saying they have found your kitty and to message them your contact information. And also how an Instagram/FB site helped them find their pet - don't click on site. All BS scammers. 🙏❤️💪🏼
