Message from Owner

Mocha is an adventuresome and curious kitty and we adore him. Please keep an eye out for this special baby of ours. Please check your garages or any outbuildings you may have had open in the past two days.

Don't lose hope! Please post on NextDoor in your neighborhood and ask about who's feeding local feral cat in your area or who has outdoor cats that are fed outside because that's where lost cats often appear. Also: that place where he was last seen- is it near your house? Is it in the vicinity of your home?

Put one of his "used" litter boxes on your front porch and one on your back porch. He can smell his own scent from a long distance and it might help to guide him home. Wishing for the best outcome!

Laura Hastings we need to get you out trapping with us one night. Sunday evenings is when we usually trap for the FC TNR clinic.

Are you able to hide the trap in bushes somewhat? Make sure you cover it with a towel you have used or your kitties blanket. Don't cover the back so the cat can see through it. Use stinky wet food, canned tuna, or sardines in water and make a small food trail leading to the back of the trap past the trip plate which is where you'll be a large portion of the food. Put a little on the trip plate too. You have to trick some cats to come into the trap as they are clever. It's usually best to have it near the exit door the cat escaped. One in the front yard and one in the back. Don't have any other food out except what's in the trap. It definitely needs to be covered.
