We have slept with our windows open for these past two weeks. My clothesline is filled with dirty clothes. A neighbor heard a kitty in the easement this afternoon. By the time I learned about it, it was dark. I went out and called and called but no luck.

Yes, Jackie loaned me two traps which have been loaded and checked every two hours for the past two days. We will keep trying. I am going to put one in the easement close to home in the morning.

Call the Humane Society and ask if you can borrow a humane trap and how best to use it. Mocha is most likely very nearby so put out clothing and bedding with your and his scent on it so it might attract him home. Consider keeping a window open a bit at night because that is when cats are usually most active and you might be able to hear him meow. Put posters up everywhere, including shelters, vet offices and stores. Visit all area shelters in person because the way they describe him may not be the same way you would. Sending much caring and positive thoughts for a happy reunion.
