For the 20 years I’ve been a Widow, Aurora and Loden have been my only family and my Support Parrots who’ve seen me through the death of my family; my high school sweet heart of 35 years, my daughter, my son & last my mother. Their sweet voices put life into my home. They truly have healed my soul. Her absence has shattered something very special. Now Loden calls for her; “Aurora, come here. Rorie where are you? Rora, come here now!!” He adds his very loud Eclectus Flock Calls, along with Distress Cries and Warning Sounds. If he cannot see me it’s very loud. He is pulling out his feathers… a parrots Sackcloth? Mine Sackcloth is a parrot attached to my shoulder. Please Look for her. We must find her. I know she’s around here. We live on a Peninsula that’s only 1.5 miles long… surrounded by Beaver Lake & large sections of thick uncut woods. She’s smart & an Eclectus by nature does not let anything get close to her. She sits in the tree tops so still that she blends in with the leaves. There’s water & wild food in the forested areas. It would not surprise me to find her eating from peoples gardens or bird feeders. She and Loden have never been separated. 20 years creates a strong bond. We love and need her. Please help put our family back together. I no longer see or hear well, but I will never stop praying and looking for her. My deepest heart felt thanks and gratitude for passing this along.
