Description

DSH Brown Tabby with Tortie Markings and Orange Spot on her head

Message from Owner

MISSING - DSH Brown Tabby with tortie markings. Her name is Noodle. She is a strictly indoor cat who is microchipped and was last seen Friday night 7/17 at 8:30pm near Pinon Valley Road and Eyrie Drive, 80919. Best we can figure, she slipped out while we were loading things into the garage around 9pm. She is usually a shy but friendly girl who will talk to you to get attention and demand belly rubs or snuggles, but she is usually startled by sounds of cars so we don't know how she will behave outside. If you see our girl, please contact. We miss her dearly.

ยท General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Create a scent station (items with your/your catโ€™s smell - unwashed bedding, clothing, cat tower, etc. Especially important if cat is in new/unfamiliar area. Do NOT put out litter pan as feces often used to mark territory and may inadvertently attract predators or territorial cats.). Check it often, especially when things are quiet (late evening/early morning). Leave the garage door open 5โ€ overnight. Check nearby Ring/security cameras in the area. Check in and under everything inside and outside with a flashlight. Cats donโ€™t usually go far and freeze in a tight ball in very small, tight, dark areas when scared. The flashlight catches their eyesโ€™ stare, especially at night. Thoroughly check inside your home, especially if this is a new/shy/scared pet. Post on NextDoor app as it covers your local neighborhoods. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person at least every other day (canโ€™t stress enough - in person!!! You know your pet best plus animals constantly brought in). If your cat is not spayed/neutered, may be why it is โ€œlostโ€ and traveling further. Hope your pet is home safe and soon. (Note: if anyone asks for money or a code as โ€œthey have your pet,โ€ this is a scam). https://www.pawboost.com/blog/7-effective-search-tips-for-finding-your-lost-cat/ https://petfbi.org/i-lost-a-cat/tips-to-lure-a-cat-back-home-2/
