Cyndy Ward McDevitt You can't visually tell if chipped. They have to be scanned by a vet or animal services or rescuer with a scanner. Can you post on nextdoor or ring? Maybe call watauga pd and see if they will transport to Watauga Animal Services because of the heat and concern for their well being

Jacque Line they are in a neighbors backyard but I worry about the heat. I called the shelter but they are closed and the non emergency dispatch basically said there is no help until Monday. I can’t tell if they are chipped. The German shepherd is trained.

Are they holding safe overnight? Will they be contacting the shelter? Are you able to see if chipped?
