Emi/emerald is Missing in Loveland, CO

Description

Very long kitty, long tail and body, very long fur! her mane is a little browner than the rest of her fur, which is black, and she has greenish yellowish eyes. green or yellow depending on the lighting. HUGE paws. we used to call her slinky kitty because she loves to flop around.

Emi is my emotional support animal. I have autism and OCD, and she quelled the stress these disorders provide significantly. I mourn her every single day since I lost her. Our neighbors used to leave her outside for days, and then one day moved out without her. So, I took her in. I put food and water out every day, and eventually, she let me pick her up. she didn't scratch, she didn't bite, she just meowed and meowed and meowed. since then, she was my best friend. she walked up and down the stairs right next to me. wherever I sat, she HAD to be on my leg. Wherever I was, she simply had to be there with me. I loved her so very much. However, she didn't get along with our other cats. By the time we had figured out why, my girlfriend's mother gave her to the humane society. without my permission. and without telling me the day they would do it. ouch. even after I had insisted that I could help. I came to the hse one day with a treat in my hand for Emi, only to find that she was not there. I tried calling for her, looking for her, then my girlfriend said she was gone. I've been heartbroken ever since. I've been thinking about her a lot, and now that I am getting older and I am starting to do my own things and make my own living, I want my cat back.
