I don't understand why the dog's owner isn't responding and acknowledging that the dog is likely Bella. Many people are interested in getting her in a few days when she is available.

Wendell Bean I didn't even notice that another dog was in the pic, which does explain why the lost dog looks different. I don't know, then, why the dog in the shelter hasn't been redeemed.

Sherry Brewer thank you. In the picture of the lost dog there appears to be a white dog near the cavs butt making it look like the cav has a white butt and leg but after looking really close it looks like the cav is sitting on its back legs/feet.

Wendell Bean I took a better look at the dog in the shelter and I think it's not the same dog.

Wendell Bean It sure looks like the missing dog. Has the owner responded if the dog belongs to him/her?

This dog is on a microchip stray hold. If your dog is microchipped , please call the microchip company and verify they have the correct information. Also note that once this dogs stray hold expires and becomes available and is adopted Its original owner will lose all rights to it. If this is indeed your dog , it is very important to go to the shelter as soon as possible.

Sereena Warino Is your dog microchipped? Please go to the shelter and see this dog in person as it looks like it is your dog.

Sereena Warino We rarely see King Charles' spaniels at the shelter. Note that the shelter picture is most likely an older picture from a previous intake as this dog has an older intake id number indicating it has been in the shelter before. https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/LACT/A1809849
