Gary Velarde I understand because it happened to me with my Black Pug that I had from 6 weeks old, two years ago. Mine was stolen off my porch. But I still checked in at pet shelters because I didn’t know what that person was going to do with him? In my case it was the FedEx delivery man. I eventually my dog back. After 3 weeks someone dropped him off at home around 9:00pm. There was sightings of my dog in a neighborhood 35 miles away. I went door to door asking if anyone seen him. Posted flyers and handed them out. I don’t know who returned him? But I did get him back. When people steal pets sometimes they really aren’t interested in keeping the pet it’s actually a control issue they’re doing because they know it hurts us deeply and that the reason why they’re doing it. It’s a evil act.

⭐️1. Personally go into County Animal Services & Pet Shelters because they don’t upload new intakes right away on websites and some not at all. Desk people don’t know all the dogs they have in kennels. Take receipt of annual vaccinations with you. ⭐️2. Notify microchip registrar of missing. ⭐️3. Post on Craigslist under Community in Pets to prevent anyone from selling there. When posting in Craigslist don’t say stolen or they’ll remove your post. Just say missing. Shared.
