Cats usually get scared and hide in 15 house distance. First search your house, garden, garage and places that your cat can hide with some scented tuna and Cat Magnet:Find Missing Cats" app. The App is free and has attractive cat sounds for cats in different moods. Play all of the sounds while searching. One of them possibly attract your cat. If your cat is not close by search at night with powerful flashlight, some scented tuna with you and using Cat Magnet. Look for reflected eyes. This method worked for me and I hope it works for you too.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out the dirty litter box. The dirtier the better. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house.

Keep a close daily check on the Pinellas County Animal Services website, under "Lost and Found Pets". Hopefully, the cat has a microchip will help a lot too.

You can purchase a trap from Tractor Supply or Home Depot or see if you can borrow or rent one from a local rescue or TNR group. Put a piece of your clothing with your scent on it inside and some wet food and set the trap and monitor it. I've seen many babies return home this way 🙏❣️
