Also put your dirty laundry with your scent on it outside so he can smell it and find you! Also look at 3am - 5am as it is QUIET and they feel safe to come out of hiding! Take FOOD and shake his bowl LOUDLY but call SOFTLY as you look!!!🩷🩷🩷

You are smart to be posting early. You have a good chance now of finding him. You have to try hard tho. Open your garage door just enough for him to go under. Put food, water and some unwashed clothing in there for familiar scent. Then go walking your neighborhood looking. Especially tonight. Carry an open can of catfood or tuna he might smell. Call his name. Look under and behind everything. He may be scared and hiding. Then make flyers with his picture and your phone number. Tape one to every neighbors front door in all directions so they know you are looking for him. Make a missing cat report with the shelter. If he’s chipped call the company and make sure all your info is correct. Don’t give up on him and good luck.

Crack your garage a slight bit and will likely try to come home early morning when its quiet. Informative video on how to find your missing cat. https://www.facebook.com/374756619256467/posts/2701302119935227/

So sorry kitty is missing. My indoor only cat got out during construction and was missing for a week. Post on Next Door. If chipped, report missing to the chip company and ensure they have up to date contact info for you. File a missing report with the shelter online. I read indoor cats usually only stray 5-10 houses so I went door to door in a radius around my house and asked neighbors if I could search their backyards and under sheds. I also handed them a flyer. I walked around at night calling my cat and shining a flashlight in bushes to try to spot eyes. I cracked my garage slightly and put a lot of dirty laundry i.e. dirty sheets and blankets which helps with a scent trail. A neighbor spotted my cat in the storm drain closest to my house. I never thought to look there. It took 3 days after knowing she was in there until she came out. I do not have Ring, so I bought cheap motion sensor cameras and set them up at both doors that sent motion alerts to my phone.Good tips here: www.catsinthebag.org Paws crossed you are reunited soon.
