Message from Finder

Found in a thunderstorm with a shock collar, I whistled him over and hasn’t left since. The chip is unregistered and has no information on it. Thunderstorms and shock collars don’t mix, and I really don’t like shock collars so I removed it. Will return dog and collar with proof of ownership. -Thank you

Shock collars are abuse. The owner probably has no idea what involves owning a boarder collie. You can't shock his born in behavior or natural instincts. There is a reason why, Wales, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Norway, Slovenia, and the Netherlands ban them. They see it as animal cruelty.

Please check on Petfinder. com, petharbor. com, Petco. com, Craigslist. Please report to shelter. Please post on Nextdoor. com, and make a Pawboost. com post. Have scanned for microchip. Animals cannot be legally rehomed until required stray hold time is satisfied…your local shelter has required hold time information. This required hold time usually begins with reporting to the shelter and pawboost posts. There are skilled and disguised individuals who troll public sites for easy handovers for very nefarious purposes . Please require proof of ownership through photos, and vet records before releasing to anyone except the shelter. Reputable Rescue is first choice. Thank you for keeping this pup safe!!!

Halee Jones great job! But one thing, if this dog has been lost b4, someone needs to have a serious talk with this “owner” as they are not great owners of dog keeps getting out. This dog will not be so lucky one of these days and that is the owner’s fault. No different if a toddler keeps getting out of the house.
