Annette Brown we’ve contacted the vets in the surrounding areas I even went as far as moco rescue which is all the way in sunbright aswell ass Oliver springs and oakridge and some in Knoxville I’m gonna contact young Williams which is where I got him from thank you for your help ! I just want him back home I know it’s been a year but I’m still searching for him!

LOST DOG TIPS BEWARE of scammers saying they found your pet and want you to email them a code, etc. They will also tell you to text or connect through Instagram to a certain group that helped them find their pet. People saying that they found your dog and they want you to text your phone number in messenger, DON'T do it! It's a scam. **If Chipped, be sure it is registered and up to date! (1) ADS: lostmydoggie. com a great place to start, a free site that will send a fax blast to the closest vets, shelters in your area, Facebook for your county and state sites and Nextdoor app, petharbor. com, trianglelostpets. org, Petango. com, 24Petconnect. com, helpinglostpets. com, local newspaper and watch Craigslist (2) CONTACT local vets, groomers, pet stores, local rescues. Can get a list of contacts for vets/shelters/rescues here: lostpetusa. net/home choose Find help near you.... (3) FLYERS, give to mail carrier, delivery drivers, etc.! Make them Big, bold, and bright flyers!! Hang them at intersections & at places people meet within 2 mile radius. You can protect flyers from elements by using a plastic sheet protector turned upside down & then hanging flyer (buy at Staples, etc)...Keeps rain out. (4) BIG SIGN in your yard with picture alerting all neighbors and anyone that visits, TAG YOUR CAR WITH PIC & PHONE NUMBER GO TO THE SHELTER AND CHECK FOR THEM ..about 85% of pets that are adopted from shelters are strays and their owners never came for them...

Be sure to GO to your LOCAL SHELTERS with a photo and report your pet lost (your pet may have been taken to a shelter that is not the closest one to you). They have a board for both lost and found pets. Many finders take pets they find to them. Remember, NOT EVERYONE is on Social Media. There's some excellent advice on Missing Animal Response Network on Facebook as well as their website. Additional advice can be found on the website under the drop down menu labeled lost pet help.

Give flyers to the local vet offices and mail carriers too!! Missing Animal Response Network has excellent advice on what to do when your pet goes missing. The section about NEON signs is a must but all of the tips will also help you in your efforts to find your pet. Try putting a large lost sign at the last place seen (someone else may have seen something).
