This cat has been coming around our home for several months actually. Now that it is getting colder it is begging to come indoors. This cat is coming every night.

Jennifer Stam Woah. Must be first come basis on the little homes! When we were in TX we had opossums and tons of raccoons and their babies that would come up on our deck -- the raccoons lived underneath I think. At least TX winters are nothing like those here. Maybe someone who sees your post will want to take him in -- I would in a NY minute had we not 4 already and one so sick at the moment. He's a good looking guy I'm sure would make a wonderful companion!

Margo Arnesen I hope they have a foster. We have 3. One is an old man so I don't want to cause him any extra stress. One is FIV+. We took her in - same situation. She showed up at our house in November on a really cold day. I have several other feral cats showing up. One is an unaltered male who is very feral. He's really skinny so I'm worried about him this winter 😓 I do put a heated house on our deck, another house that is filled with straw and protected from all of the elements and we line underneath our deck in a space that is blocked off with straw as well. We provide food and water in the winter that has a warming pad so it doesn't freeze. I try my best to help them keep warm and fed in the winter! The problem is the opossums. They eat most of the food and use the shelters 😫

Jennifer Stam So does Camp Companion take them in? Seems like I've seen lately that all places are full? Such a pretty kitty I hate that it's outside esp with the weather turning... we have 4 and one is very ill at the moment, $4K of lab work and still no diagnosis......arugh.
