File a Lost report with SFACC, check the shelter a couple of times a week, bring proof of ownership: Pictures, Vet bills, vaccine records. Post and search on Nextdoor in Lost and Found Pets group,in dog groups, post on Neighbors app,you don't need a Ring camera to post on Neighbors. Ask neighbors and nearby businesses to look on their surveillance, security, and doorbell camera's video for your dog.

Put the dog's unwashed towels outside on a hanger, hang it on the edge of the roof, out a window, on a deck,a fire escape, hang its owner's or favorite person's unwashed clothes outside on a clothing line,or hanger outside on a windowsill, on a deck,on the other side of the building,if you can, the scent from these items will travel and help guide the dog back home. Please wash the items twice before using them again, the dog's stuff, too, there are alot of outside surfaces in big city's where pigeons and other birds leave their feces, psittacosis, and other germs.
