Linus is 15 yrs old , black , slim.Will usually come when his name is called. I've had him since he was 5 months old. He got thru a slider door Saturday night. I'm devastated. Please keep a look out. He is chipped.

Jennifer Lawson Seifert not at all...I talked to an animal communicator when my little black bolter got out the first time since adoption (shed already been a stray) and if there is someone you trust to do this, it can be hugely supportive for the whole family, including the cat.

My son thought he lost his cat…he looked everywhere, called his name. Looked for hours…the cat was hiding in a bush in his yard. He was frightened, but, okay. Look every place imaginable…bushes, behind things. When they’re scared, they will not answer your call. I pray you’ll find your cat…🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors ASAP with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕
