Unfortunately there’s no update on the shelters post for this poor guy. It’s hard to say what led to this, I saw him running up the sidewalk, with his leash draggling behind him and looking up at everyone he passed. He wouldn’t come to me at first, luckily another guy stopped to help me and good timing because the dog ran onto the road. Luckily he came to us before anything bad happened. He calmed down right away and was very friendly. I think he was happy to be around people who cared. While we waited for 311 to send someone, I took his picture over to a nearby dog park and asked if anyone saw this guy with anyone there, but they hadn’t. We waited for almost 2 hrs and hoped the owner would come laround before 311 got there, but nobody did. The girl from 311 was very nice, but the poor dog was still very nervous and shaking. She explained where she would take him and there would be a link (in my first comment) to his profile. He want interested in the biscuit she offered him and said it’s normal when a dog is nervous. I really hope there’s a happy ending for this poor guy, who seems to have a lot of love to offer! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ P.s. I had posted on the Toronto Reddit page the night we found him and although it got 59,000 views in 12 hrs, the moderators of the group took the post down. When I asked them why, their response was that only a pets owner can post about their pet being lost. We went back and forth a few times, but to no avail 🤦‍♂️
