Message from Owner

PLEASE help me find my baby. My little Lola Lou has been missing since Saturday, August 29, which is very abnormal. She is not a large cat, but rather very long and thin, and the thick black markings on her sides and large patch of black fur along her back are a dead giveaway that it is her. Location is approximately one block west of 124th St. near block of Walnut Road and Elmhurst Parkway. Attention Elm Grove neighbors and Wauwatosa neighbors bordering 124th St. between North Avenue and Watertown plank Road. This is the location that she has wandered from. Please keep your eyes open, check your garage, sheds, etc. Let your neighbors know and ask them to take part in the search. I am so grateful for anything that you may be able to do to help me find her! Thank you so very much. I am very grateful for your help! I am deeply concerned as she does not run like this and when we’re in the yard together, all I have to do is whistle and she will come to me. She is not an extremely skittish, baby, but possibly something has scared her, and she may appear to be that way. A high-pitched whistle usually gets her attention and that’s how I get her to come by me when I want her. I also call her name in a singing type of voice with Lou being high-pitched. I know it sounds really stupid, but it works. Thank you again!

Lost cats Search for him/ her using a flashlight. He/ she will be frightened and will hide. It also might not respond to your calling him/ her. A flashlight will reflect in the eyes, allowing you to see it in dark spaces. Use it day and night.

Hope u find your kitty❤️ Put food near your door. Place a baby monitor and/or home security camera near the food so you can hear/see when your cat is there eating and go and get him/her. Check MADACC and other humane societies. Post on Lost Cats of Wisconsin. Keep checking each day! Check under bushes and other places in your yard and neighborhood to see if he is hiding there. Cats become scared and won't come when called. Don't give up. People find their cats months later. My friend found their cat 3 months after it got lost. It was hiding under a bush in the neighborhood, not coming when called and acting feral… very scared! Prayers! Hope u find your kitty❤️ Put food near your door. Hello everybody, I am little Lola Lou’s Momma. I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide to help me find my little girl! She is very gentle and will not hurt you at all so don’t be afraid. Please feel free to whistle at her and call her name in a higher pitch, singing voice to see if she may even react to you. This will give indication that it may be her. Whenever I do this, she always comes to me from wherever she’s at in the house to when we’re both outside together and she’s wandered a little too far from our yard, and I need her to come back. I hope you all have a wonderful day and thank you for taking time out of your day to read this information Also, feel free to share with your neighbors as they may not use facebook. Also, my Neighbors along 124th St. between North Avenue and Watertown plank. You are very very close to the location of her home so please take a minute to check your sheds garage, etc.. Also spread the news in your area. I greatly appreciate you and everyone of you!

Put items in the yard with familiar scents on them ( yours/hers). Have neighbors check their garages as she could be stuck somewhere. Post flyers in the area. Cats typically don’t go far. File a report with the humane society also. Check under decks and behind bushes.
