🚨 Please read these instructions and do them the best you can. Do nighttime searches for your cat, with a flashlight and a bag of cat treats,walk the neighborhood where the cat is lost , with the light,look under vehicles,in their wheel wells, under porches and decks,in bushes,up trees,up poles, on fences,at their base on the ground,in between and behind buildings, near garbage bins,shine light on rooftops,on windowsills, on upper level decks,on fire escapes, use the light to expose the eye shine, or reflective glow of the cat's eyes , Calmly call the cat's name,then shake the treat bag, please repeat these actions throughout the block then neighborhood where the cat is lost every night after sunset then again late night to right before dawn 11 pm-4 am Search your property ; look in crawl spaces,in your shed, under,behind wood stacks, under the deck, under the house, under the porch.Post on Nextdoor in Lost and Found Pets group and post on Neighbors app,you don't need a Ring camera to post on Neighbors app .File a Lost report with the local animal shelter,or animal control services, and check the shelter a couple of times a week, bring proof of ownership; Pictures, Vet bills, vaccine records,etc.Ask the neighbors to check their garages, sheds, and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them . Get their permission to look under their porches and decks,in yards ,look under decks under and behind their sheds and houses,use a flashlight to search these places, and use the light to expose the eye shine or reflective glow of the cat's eyes.Ask neighbors to look on their surveillance, security,and doorbell camera's video for your cat.Give flyers to neighbors, postal workers/mail carriers, delivery people,dog walkers, joggers, and daily walkers.

Ask neighbors to check their garages sheds and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them . Get their permission to look in their yards, under their porches and decks, under and behind their sheds,look in, under,behind wood stacks,in crawl spaces,on fences,on the bottom,at their base, in bushes,up trees, up poles , on rooftops,use a flashlight to look in these dark and tucked away spaces, even in the day, look for the eye shine,or reflective glow of the cat's eyes. Ask neighbors and nearby businesses to look on their surveillance security and doorbell camera's video for your cat, put up a flyer there,or leave a flyer.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him/her and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen him/her, and when they last did and which direction he/she headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if he/she might be trapped in their garage or shed. Also, check websites of your local / county animal shelters for their recent acquired cats. They often have a section you can view their photos and details. It may be good to go there in person as well. I hope he/she is found soon🙏🏻
