Shared your post. Meanwhile he is likely close by or not too far. Indoor cats hole up in the nearest place that feels safe, under or behind things, shrubs, decks, window wells. Your guy might have gone a bit further. Im attaching a graphic that helps steer your options. A humane trap with smelly food (and if possible a camera) could be a big help. Put your unwashed clothes out by your doors. (People will tell you to put out his litterbox - don’t do that, it can attract predators.) Tell your neighbors to check cameras and keep an eye out. Talk with the person who delivers your mail and hang some posters on poles in plastic sheet protectors. Go out at night and call softly, shaking a recognizable treat bag or toy. Consider a laser toy light or flashlight to draw the cat’s attention. Best wishes.

We found ours by going outside at the crack of dawn and softly calling his name as we walked our property and our neighbor’s. He came out from hiding to us. Take a smelly bowl of wet cat food with you. Post everywhere- FB, Instagram, tell the shelter and go there to look, and hand deliver flyers to your neighbor’s homes with a picture to at least a 2 to 3 block radius of your house. Good luck!

Call at night when it’s quiet cats never go far Check sheds and garages and keep us posted Please put used clothes outside cats can smell for a mile use flashlight and keep them inside
