I found a very friendly black-and-white (tuxedo) cat on Friday evening, July 31, 2026, near the intersection of North Road / Beach Plain Road and Woodland Drive in Kingston, NH. The cat walked into the road, stopped directly in front of my car, and then approached me. They were extremely friendly and appeared to be seeking help, which makes me believe they are a lost pet rather than a feral cat. The cat is very underweight (approximately 6 pounds) and has matted fur. They are currently safe indoors with food, water, and a quiet place to rest. The cat has no collar and no microchip. I have contacted the Rockingham County Animal Control Officer for assistance.
