Description

Friendly and loving 1 year old black, white and brown domestic shorthair tabby cat that is currently missing from her family

Message from Owner

Jacqueline (a.k.a Jackie or her popular nickname, Moomies) is known to be a very gentle, playful, friendly, and loving cat. Jackie goes by the nickname, Moomies, and mainly responds to that nickname. She is a white, brown domestic shorthair tabby cat and is only a year old. She just celebrated her 1st birthday with her owner, Jazmin Pratt, on September 25th, and we were supposed to be celebrating her first “Gotcha Day” on October 25th. She’s only had one owner for her entire life since she has been in that owners care since she was around 3 or 4 weeks old. Moomies is recognized as her owner’s emotional support animal and has a supporting documentation letter from a mental health professional stating she is her owner’s ESA. She was spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped at 4 months old and she was a very healthy and happy baby girl before she went missing in San Diego. She has possibly lost weight since being lost out on the streets. Her owner is very upset without her and is not giving up on looking for Jackie (Moomies). :,)

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

PleaseUPDATE your OP with the nearest cross streets to narrow the search. 🔎 Searching for her is the fastest way to get her back: 🐾 Sad seeing so many kitties go missing just this week. When a cat goes missing, they can’t easily find their way home using only their scent. Posting is important, but please be proactive and search for her, too. Look under cars, bushes & hedges, look for glowing eyes w/flashlight, call her name at dusk when it’s quiet and they come out from hiding to eat. They don’t go far, 3-4 houses away, they stay in one place until they are scared off by dogs, coyotes, or loud noises. The challenge is finding her before she gets further away. 📣 Please hang flyers near the area she went missing, it’ll let your neighbors know you’re looking for her and get the immediate attention from pedestrians and drivers. You’re the one that can bring her home safely, she’ll recognize your voice, footsteps and your scent. Post on ND, check SDHS Lost & Found daily. If you’re able to find her, PLEASE, please don’t let her out unattended. Cats have the intelligence of a 3yo, they don’t know the dangers they face outdoors from coyotes, dogs, cars, and worst of all evil people who taunt or injure cats. It only takes an hour to train a cat on a leash, then he can be outdoors safely with you. 🐈‍⬛ Good luck finding this gorgeous girl 🐾💜🐾
