Rhonda Bliss the 21 bill doesn’t talk about euthanasia that’s the part that required shelters and licensed facilities to do enrichment activities and it reinforced timely veterinary. But it’s not the language from above. The socially conscious shelter initiative and bill from 21 might’ve had that in the bill originally. But it was not in the final bill that was signed into law. That language you quoted above was in the bill from last year, but it failed in committee.

Kati Scheibeler yes, they were two separate bills the one that I was referencing was passed in 2021. The other one about selling puppies in parking lots passed in 2025.

Kati Scheibeler it did pass. I was involved in getting that passed. It is law.
