Description

Small black Schnoodle-like dog

Message from Finder

FOUND: Small black dog found in West Boise near Milwaukee and Fairview. Black collar, no tags. Scanned for a chip but none found. He’s FAST, and covered a lot of ground in a short time of me following him, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s far from home. He ran into traffic on Milwaukee several times before I was able to pluck him out of the canal. Lots of mats in his fur, so he may have been lost for a while. Planning to take him to the humane society tomorrow if we’re unable to locate his owners tonight. He’s very scared and shaky, won’t eat treats or drink water.

He was scanned after I found him at a local vet because IHS was closed. He's now safely at IHS.

I search Pawboost posts dating back six months, and searched the two biggest missing/found animals groups in the treasure valley with no luck before taking him to the human society.

Nope. I bathed him after I got him out o the canal. He's black, not brown. He also has longer fur, thinner snout, etc.

Mia Myers tbh, I hate to assume the worst, but the more time I spent with him, I wondered if he was just dumped somewhere or not treated very kindly.

Marsha Elaine Sanders Wells He was extra scared but once he figured out I wasn't going to hurt him, he was a love bug.

Judy Triplett I took him to the humane society. They'll do the 5 day hold, and I should get a call if no one claims him.
