Lost Sunday morning (7/6/25) near Sturgell Cemetery / 100 Old Mountain Field Road, Kermit, WV Our dog Teapot is missing. He’s a 5-year-old black and white Pekingese/Shih Tzu mix, about 30 lbs, and was wearing a green collar. Last seen around 9:30 AM Sunday morning near our barn. He may have wandered or possibly been picked up by someone thinking he was lost. Teapot is deeply loved and missed. He has never been away from or left outside this long. We are heartbroken and just want him safe. $500 cash reward offered for his safe return. No questions asked. I will gladly come pick him up—any time, any place. Just an idea for anyone who has lost an animal. Make flyers. About 20 copies. Take one to the shelter, and ask if they can hang it up. Also ask if they can give the rest to the animal control drivers. To keep in their trucks. Also save the post you made on lost and found. Post it once a week, just to keep people informed that you're still looking. Also keep in contact with the shelter once a week, to make sure they haven't forgotten. You may also ask the shelter if they will share your lost animal post on their page. Whatever you do. NEVER GIVE UP.
