Yes, definitely the downside of paw boost. along with another organization I was trying to find Irish through... they both claim that all these things and places are connected to them and that we will receive messages. that is highly untrue. I'm just now reading/receiving messages that were sent for me a week ago +🫤. another huge thing that really does is how short of a time shelters will keep an animal before they adopt them out. I understand why they do it though. their turnover rate is insane and high. but 3 days into a cat missing you might any not even know that your cat's actually actually missing until you wait a day or two and then it takes you a week to understand all the different other places the animal could have been taken to!! (that has happened to me before cat was taken all the way to Kent and anivert in a million years. thought to look that far away for a shelter) But I think that may have happened in this case with Iris yet I still have hope that he will be home. but there's a few black cats that were taken to a shelter nowhere near here that have already been adopted out and then there's nothing they can do. the cat is not mine anymore 😭😭 Or let alone? could they look back in their files for a picture of the cat they did adopt out so I would know if it was my cat that was adopted out or not. then I would stop looking if he has a new family. I didn't tag him. I did not ship him so therefore there's no way to tell... especially with all black cats is what I'm being told. thank you all for your responses iris is still missing and I still hope he can come home. and now there's the fact of how little I do social media and 3 weeks ago there was a black cat taken to a shelter from Finn Hill which is where I live. the date that was posted was the date that Iris became missing but because that was 2 and 1/2 weeks ago the people that posted it haven't gotten back and it's not like they could do anything. they told me where cat got taken to but have no records of it if he'd already been adopted out. uugghhh

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR Responses AND ADVICE.! Iris is known to go WAY further than most cats do. Used to have a tracker on him before it popped off and we were Amazed how far he went. Ive always had outdoor indoor cats in this neighborhood 40+ years I know the risks, never had a problem till past year. 🫤

.Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . You can even ask your local animal 🐱 shelter to rent out safe trap and monitor it.. dk if owner is on here; that's been downside to Pawboost..ppl share and the owner isn't aware...I'll try reaching out to owner via the options given in post; great advice..they need to get Missing Cat flyers up for both cats...think this post mentions another cat that has been missing for a long time..and if lucky/blessed to have cat return/be safe, keep inside...9 lives is alot to have but when they are outside, there's alot of consequences for them...

Do this immediately.....Put something with his scent on it and put it on the on the porch. Walk your neighborhood and call him, do it again as late as possible (they suggest 3 am). He won’t come out right away, even when he hears you, he will only come out of hiding when he feels it’s safe. They’re usually only 3-5 houses away hunkered down somewhere.
