Please help us find Dexter. ❤️🐾 Dexter has been missing since Thursday, September 17, and we are desperately hoping someone has seen him. Dexter isn’t simply a stray cat to us. For approximately 10 months, Dexter had been living around our community garden. Day after day, we fed him, looked after him and spent time with him. He became part of our daily routine. He would greet us at the garden. We watched him become comfortable with us. Little by little, we grew attached to him — and he became someone we genuinely loved. Dexter is friendly, intelligent and incredibly charming. He has a brown/gray tabby coat, a white chest and greenish eyes. He also has a clipped/tipped ear, which is an important identifying feature. Then, last Thursday, Dexter didn’t show up. That was completely unlike him. We have been searching, posting, contacting resources and asking people to keep an eye out because we don’t want to give up on him. If you live anywhere near the garden or surrounding neighborhoods, please look around your yards, porches, garages, sheds, bushes and quiet hiding places. Please also check under cars and around buildings. Sometimes cats hide very close by. 🙏 If you see a cat that looks like Dexter, please don’t assume it’s just another stray. Take a photo if possible and contact us immediately. We just want to know that he’s safe and bring him back to the place where people have been caring for him every day. Please SHARE this post. One person seeing this post could be the person who has seen Dexter. DEXTER — PLEASE COME HOME. ❤️ 📍 Last seen: [COMMUNITY GARDEN / EXACT AREA] 📅 Missing since: Thursday, September 17 🐾 Male | Brown/gray tabby | White chest | Greenish eyes | Clipped/tipped ear
