If chipped make sure owner contact info is current with chip company. File online lost reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Check Craigslist lost and found and pets for sale ads. Keep checking shelters online and in person.

Look at Elk Grove shelter. Not sure but there is one dog there that resembles this one, your lost one. I don't remember IF was chipped so please go look right away And check on their website since stray hold time frame is only 3 days (if not chipped) before shelter can decide anything on that dogs future.
